Resistance, tension, anxiety, anger, fear, depression or any negative emotion isn't bad, or good, or right, or wrong, it just is. What you do with it, how you handle it, may make it feel bad or wrong for you, and conversely, it may have the opposite effect. In either case, it is you who holds the power to decide how you will use it. One thing you can always be sure of is that it is purposeful. If you choose to ignore it, sweep it under the rug, it will not go away, but instead will continue to nag you, and eventually become relentless. At times it may even wreak havoc on your life, all in order to get your attention. Only when you learn to surrender to it by accepting it as your friend, as purposeful, as an opportunity to learn something new about yourself, will you begin the journey of transforming you life.
